As an active performer, Brian has always been passionate about learning and applying healthy vocal production to singing while seeking a better understanding of the human voice. Brian believes that imitation, especially of the singers we idolize, will often lead to inauthentic production of one's true voice.
Outstanding vocal ability is only one of the foundations of complete mastery. Singers should also seek to find their unique timbre, devote themselves to musical phrasing and dynamics, connection and understanding of text, and the relationship with the audience.
Work with Brian and learn how to maintain connection to the breath, fine-tune proper vowel formation, and foster dramatic intent throughout your instrument. Focus on letting effortless vocal technique tell the story rather than allowing the drama of the moment be trapped in the throat.
Only when a performer finds what makes them unique and distinct, will they have more to offer.
