Once you've created your account, tap the "add profession card" button at the top of your profile, and fill out each field:
Search for a profession
Add at least one Top Skill
Enter a custom name for your profession card
If you can't find your profession, you can create one from scratch. You'll first select a profession category, which determines how you show up in search results. Here are some examples of categories for specific professions:
Add TEACHER as your profession category if you are a voice teacher.
Add SINGER if you are an opera singer
Add PIANIST if you you are a classical pianist
Add DANCER if you are a ballet dancer
Next you'll pick a Primary Specialization, which is also used in search when people are looking to hire you. Make sure to enter a specialization that best defines your profession card. Here are some examples:
Add OPERA as your primary specialization if you are an opera singer.
Add CLASSICAL if you are a classical pianist.
Add VOICE (SINGING) if you are a voice teacher.
Add PIANO if you are a piano teacher.
Finally, you’ll enter a custom name for your profession card, which will be displayed on your profile. For example, you can name a voice teacher card “Voice Specialist”.
Once you’ve added a profession card, it will appear on your profile, where you’ll be prompted to complete it by adding up to 3 top skills, payment policy, a work location, cancellation & travel policies, and your work availability.
Once you’ve added all of the relevant information, tap on the card and toggle to “Public” in order to list your services in search results. You can always edit details about your profession card whenever you’d like. To read more about editing your profession card, please read this article.
You can add as many profession cards as you want! To add a new card, swipe left on an existing card and tap "add a new profession" button. Card creation can take as little as 10 minutes to complete. Once you're done, you’ll be all set to start earning on Resonance!
Make sure to fill out your profile with as much detail as possible, especially your Top skills, additional skills, and all other information to give people the confidence to hire you!
